Its’ here…Harvest 2019!!!
The guys here are in the final stages of getting equipment ready for the fall.  We are anxiously awaiting our new John Deere dry floater, which is scheduled to arrive any day.

Unfortunately grain markets are down and fall input costs are higher than last year, but hopefully high yields will make up for the difference.  High yields take a lot out of the soil; therefore, you need to continue to fertilize in order to maintain your levels. If you are in need of soil testing this fall, please contact us.

It’s hard to talk seed for next year when you’re still combining, but there are some very attractive discounts being offered on Beck’s seed.  As time goes on, the discounts become smaller, but they’ll still be pretty advantageous through the fall.  We would love some feedback on your Beck’s seed after harvest.

Countless hours are worked during the fall…please be safe!
A few safety tips:
Make sure your equipment is in good working condition
Keep all SMV decals/signs clean and free of dust and mud
Double check all lights in working order
Keep yourself well fed, well rested, and hydrated (lots of water)
